Darpan News Desk IANS, 20 Oct, 2015 08:08 PM
Former Miss Austria Ena Kadic died on Tuesday after falling off the side of a mountain the previous day while she was jogging.

The 26-year-old often enjoyed jogging in her home town of Tirol, where the Bergisel mountain is located, the Mirror online reported.

Police have launched an investigation as to how Kadic could have fallen to her death on a path she regularly jogged on and knew so well.

Kadic was rushed to hospital on Monday after falling 30 metres, suffering serious head trauma and injuries to her lung as well as to her pelvis.

It is understood that she was able to call her brother, alerting him to her injuries, but then passed out moments later. She succumbed to her injuries in hospital on Tuesday.

Kadic won Miss Austria in 2013.

She then took part in the Miss World contest in Indonesia. However, since then she withdrew from public life.
