Indian Man, 24,Jailed In Singapore For Molesting Indonesian Maid

    An Indian gardener on Tuesday was jailed for nine weeks for molesting a foreign domestic worker in Singapore.
     
    Palanivel Rajesh, 24, pleaded guilty to molesting the 25-year-old Indonesian domestic worker in the lift of a residential complex in Singapore’s Jurong West area on April 30, The Straits Times reported. 
     
    The victim was returning to the residential complex when Rajesh approached and asked for her phone number. When she replied that she did not have a mobile phone, Rajesh followed her into the lift and molested her. 
     
    After reaching the seventh floor, the victim ran out from the lift, while Rajesh returned to the ground floor.
