A body of an Indian woman was found hanging in an apartment in Al Nahda area of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a media report said on Sunday.
 
The criminal investigation department officers and forensic experts have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the 32-year-old Indian woman's death on Saturday, Khaleej Times reported.
 
Police are considering the suicide angle in the incident. They said the woman was recently diagnosed with cancer.
 
Authorities of Kuwaiti Hospital, where the body was taken, said that the woman died seven hours before she was brought to the hospital.
 
The public prosecutor has asked for the body of the deceased to be moved to the forensic laboratory to establish if this was a suicide or criminal act.
