Pakistan Wants Sikh Communities To Invest In Commercial Projects Along Nankana-Kartarpur Corridor

    Pakistan has invited Sikh community settled all over the world to invest in the Kartarpur Corridor and make the area between Kartarpur and Nankana Sahib “unprecedented and historic”.


    Making the offer, Governor of Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said all the expenses related to the development of both religious places and connecting corridor will be covered by Pakistan.


    Talking to the Sikh community at Guru Gobind Singh Sabha in Southall, West London Sarwar said the opening of the corridor has been a historic moment which shows Pakistan’s affection towards the Sikhs.


    “Sikhs are our brothers and sisters, Pakistan is already supporting and helping them and taking extra care to look after the Gurdawaras in all over the country, especially the Nankana Saheb," he added.


    Lauding the Indian government for their support in the development of this corridor Sarwar stated that this would not have happened without New Delhi’s support for this noble initiative. The Governor further added that both the countries have set the foundation of goodwill and friendship and the opening of this corridor has fulfilled the long-pending demand of 120 million Sikhs.


    Sarwar called on the Sikh community to invest in educational, hotel and business industries and added that by making this investment the Sikhs will not only serve their own but will also earn a handsome return on their investment.
