Swiss parliament rocked by nude selfie again

Darpan News Desk IANS, 26 Aug, 2014 07:50 AM
The Swiss parliament has suspended Geri Muller, mayor of Baden municipality in Switzerland, for reportedly `sexting` his nude selfies to a former girlfriend.

Muller, a member of the Green National party, has also been accused of sending lewd messages to the woman on a sex chat site during work time, according to a report in Schweizam Sonntag newspaper.

Deputy mayor Markus Schneider has taken over the mayor's ceremonial and management duties.

Earlier, Swiss parliamentary secretary Adeline Lafouine was suspended after being found to be uploading nude selfies and amateur porn photos sometimes from inside the Federal House in Berne.

Lafouine claimed she had not broken any rules because tweeting the photos was “part of her private life”.

She later suspended her Facebook account.
