US Vice-President Kamala Harris tests positive for Covid-19

Washington, April 26 (IANS) US Vice President Kamala Harris tested positive for Covid-19 on undergoing rapid and PCR tests, her spokesperson said.
Today I tested positive for COVID-19. I have no symptoms, and I will continue to isolate and follow CDC guidelines. I’m grateful to be both vaccinated and boosted.
"She has exhibited no symptoms, will isolate and continue to work from the Vice President's residence," the spokesperson added on Tuesday in a statement.
Harris, 57, has not been a close contact to US President Joe Biden or the first lady "due to their respective recent travel schedules," the statement said.
The statement added that the Vice-President will follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and the advice of her physicians and will return to the White House when she tests negative, Xinhua news agency reported.
Officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say the virus spreads primarily through small airborne droplets, like those that fly through the air when someone coughs or sneezes.
Since the poll, questions have only mounted about whether the government is trying to rush treatments and vaccines to help President Donald Trump's reelection chances.
The high school's principal filed a complaint about the actions involving the rabbits and chickens, and several students have been questioned, the police spokesman said.
The finding tracks an identical trend among all 13 countries involved in the poll — record lows were also recorded in the U.K., France, Germany, Japan and Australia.
