WCA travelling show guarantees a fun-filled family experience

Petrina D'Souza, 11 Apr, 2017 12:06 PM
I have always loved riding the ferris wheel. The excitement of the ride and the thrill you feel when you are on it cannot be compared to any other experience. So when I realised that West Coast Amusement (WCA) is back this year with their on-tour fair, I made it a point to attend it.

In one simple word, I describe my experience at the fair as magical. Right from the rides and the games to the stalls and the food, there is nothing that you would want to miss at the WCA fair. Being a family event, WCA ensures that each individual (young or old, adult or toddler) gets to try everything the fair has to offer. For example, the ferris wheel and other similar rides can be enjoyed by the entire family, as the staff ensures that the rides are not too fast and are equipped with the best safety gear.

Most of the rides are smooth with the right amount of speed to give you that thrill. I loved riding the ferris wheel and ‘The Vertigo’, a ride that spins you in a swing while it slowly climbs to the top of a 100 foot tower. If you are brave enough, try the ‘Fire Ball’ – a ride that spins you at 360 degrees where you are literally taken upside down. Not for the weak-hearted.

Besides the rides, families with kids will enjoy the various game booths present at the fair, like ‘Balloon Pop’ and ‘Lucky Ducky’ where you can win exciting prizes. On a bright sunny day, the WCA fair is just the perfect way to spend time with your family.

WCA is touring other cities in British Columbia, namely West Vancouver, Surrey, Maple Ridge, and many others. For more details on the fair, check westcoastamusements.com
