Woman goes under the knife to look 'selfie worthy'

Darpan News Desk Darpan, 16 Aug, 2014 12:02 PM
How far can you go to have a perfect selfie? For 33-year-old Christa Hendershot, it was time for going under the knife so that her engagement ring looks pretty on her hands for social media appearances.

Not happy with her hands with the engagement rings, she went to a dermatologist to make her hands more 'selfie worthy.'

Within minutes of the hand rejuvenation procedure, Christa was happier about the appearance of her hands.

"The veins are not as blue," she was quoted as saying.

She shelled out more than $3,000 for the filler procedure, ABC 7 New York reported.

According to her plastic surgeon Dr Ariel Ostad, there has been an increase in the number of his clients who bring selfies into his office to point out their bodily flaws to him.
