Police say a man is in hospital in stable condition after a stabbing in Kelowna.

Central Okanagan R-C-M-P say the man was found with several stab wounds near the shopping area along Springfield Road at around 3:15 yesterday afternoon.

The Mounties are asking drivers to come forward with any dash-camera footage of the area, including Vasile Road and Agassiz Road, around the time of the incident.

They say no arrests have yet been made and investigators believe the assault was an isolated incident.
