17-Year-Old Arrested In 'Sexually Motivated' Break-In At Vancouver Home

    VANCOUVER — Police say a youth has been arrested following a "sexually motivated" break-in at a home in east Vancouver.
     
    They say a 57-year-old woman awoke around 2 a.m. Wednesday to find a man standing in her bedroom.
     
    The man allegedly tried to sexually assault the woman before he was scared off by other people in the home.
     
    Police say a 17-year-old man has been taken into custody.
     
    No criminal charges have been announced as officers continue investigating.
