There are 194 new cases of COVID-19 in BC. There has been a total of 144,667 cases in British Columbia. The 7-day rolling average is now at 254 new cases a day. That is the lowest since October 29.

There have been 4 new COVID-19 related deaths, for a total of 1,707 deaths in British Columbia.

There are 2,662 active cases of COVID-19. Active cases are the lowest since November 1. 246 individuals are currently hospitalized, 70 of whom are in ICU.

Cases by health authority: Coastal - 33, Fraser - 122, Island -2, Interior - 33, Northern - 4.

71.1% of all adults in B.C. and 68% of those 12 and older have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. In total, 3,365,286 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in B.C., 208,145 of which are second doses.

Minister Dix and Dr. Henry - "We are slowly and cautiously moving forward through Step 1, and in the weeks ahead, activities that have been on hold will resume once again. Many are excited about this transition, but there can also be fear and anxiety about what this may mean for you."
