2 Arrested For Assault With A Weapon In Surrey

    On July 9th, 2017, at approximately 1:00am, Surrey RCMP received multiple 911 calls reporting an altercation at a residence in the 5600 block of 148th Street. 
     
    Officers attended to the location and located a 16 year old male that had received several wounds from an unknown edged weapon. The youth was transported to hospital in serious condition. 
     
     
    The victim had been having a verbal altercation with several other youths that had come to the residence. These youths fled from the residence prior to police arriving on the scene. All of the youths are known to each other.
     
     
    Officers are presently on scene and will be there for some time. Witnesses are presently being identified and interviewed. The area is being canvassed for additional evidence and witnesses. This incident was targeted and not random.
