Two men who have been arrested for allegedly carjacking a delivery van in Richmond failed to consider that many of those vehicles come equipped with G-P-S tracking systems.
R-C-M-P say it happened on Sunday when the driver said his van was taken at gunpoint by two people wearing masks.
The van was tracked along Highway 91 and followed into Surrey where Mounties arrested a 29-year-old man and recovered the van.
They say a 27-year-old man later turned himself in to police.

Several witnesses reported seeing two people fighting near a bus stop at Dunbar and West 41st Avenue around 8:30 p.m. When VPD officers responded, they located a 17-year-old suffering from a number of life-threatening wounds. The victim was bleeding profusely, and a VPD officer applied pressure to the wounds to stem the bleeding.
The South Simcoe Police Service said police responded to a disturbance call in Innisfil, Ont., just before 8 p.m. Tuesday when the shooting took place.
