Two earthquakes moved parts of B-C this morning.
The first was a magnitude 3.5 and shook just after two a-m in the Georgia Strait about 18 kilometres west of Tsawwassen.
Natural Resources Canada says the second quake -- a magnitude 4.6 -- happened at around four this morning about 63 kilometres west of Fort St. John.
The agency says the first quake was lightly felt in the Vancouver and Victoria areas, but there were no reports of damage from either shake up.
The project, which is expected to be finished in 2027, will replace Mountain View Manor and its 92 beds. The new facility is being designed as households that accommodate 12 or 13 residents each, with 200 beds in total.
A recent traffic stop led to a drug seizure in Kelowna. R-C-M-P say they were patrolling an area known for drug trafficking on June 2nd when they pulled over a vehicle for a number of traffic violations.
