2 senior pedestrians struck by a vehicle in Abbotsford suffering serious life-threatening injuries

On Thursday, May 26th, 2022, at 1:15 pm, Abbotsford Emergency Services responded to a serious collision at Ware St and Bourquin Cres involving a vehicle and two pedestrians.

Upon arrival, emergency service workers located two pedestrians struck by a vehicle suffering serious life-threatening injuries. The 88-year old male and the 85-year old female have been transported to hospital. The driver and passenger of the vehicle are quite shaken, but they were uninjured, remained on scene and are cooperating with police. 

The intersection at Ware St and Bourquin Cres was closed to all traffic while the Integrated Collision Analysis Reconstruction Service (ICARS) assisted with the investigation.

The road closure is now open to all traffic.
