2 youths stabbed in Langley

Mounties in Langley say two youth have been taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in attacks that may be connected.

Police say officers responded this morning to a call of a young person who had been stabbed. 

They say the then located a second youth nearby, also suffering from stab wounds, and no suspect details is known at this time.

Police say they are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbings, which they believe are linked.

The Denny's restaurant in Fort St. John, B.C., ran out of burgers on Tuesday, a waiter said. Hotels have been filled with new guests, some turning up without identification or money, according to one manager. Fort St. John businesses have been doing their best to welcome the influx, offering free movie nights — popcorn included — and discount burritos.
