  • 22 year old man stabbed in Surrey, suspects described as South Asian males

Surrey RCMP is investigating a stabbing that left one man injured and is asking for anyone with information or dash cam footage to come forward to police.

On Thursday, June 9, at 8:58 p.m., Surrey RCMP received a report of a stabbing in the 10200-block 168 Street. Upon arrival to the scene, police located a 22-year-old man with non-life threatening injuries who was transported to hospital, treated and later released.

Surrey RCMP’s General Investigations Unit has taken conduct of this investigation and is currently gathering evidence. Initial indications are that this was a targeted incident.

Police are looking for anyone with information or CCTV footage to come forward to police. The suspects fled the area in a silver, 4-door, Mercedes. Two suspects are described as follows:

  • Suspect 1 - South Asian male with a thin build, wearing a grey hoodie with black writing, black pants, black runners and a blue medical face mask.
  • Suspect 2 – South Asian male, with a medium build was wearing a black hoodie with white stripes on the upper sleeves, black pants, white runners.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
