Vancouver police say they're investigating after a 28-year-old man died in a downtown crash early this morning.
They say a Honda Accord was stopped at a red light around 3 a-m when the driver of a van crashed into its rear, causing the van to catch fire.
Police say the 34-year-old van driver was extracted and taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver and one passenger in the Honda were rushed to hospital with serious injuries, while a second passenger died at the scene.
Several people escaped but police say a man and woman were found dead inside when firefighters were able to enter the house after knocking down the flames. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
