As we wrap up the work week, some great news  heading into the weekend. The seven-day average is now 315 new cases per day, the lowest since November 2.

There are 317 new COVID cases today, for a total of 143,581 cases in British Columbia. 

There are 3,441 active cases of COVID-19 in the province, and a further 138,360 people who tested positive have recovered.

New cases by health authority Vancouver Coastal Health - 73 Fraser Health - 163 Island - 5 Interior - 60 Northern - 16

There are 292 individuals currently hospitalized with COVID-19, 79 of whom are in intensive care.

There have been 2 new COVID-19 related deaths, for a total of 1,692 deaths in British Columbia.

3,106,269 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in B.C., 160,885 of which are second doses.

Right now 67.2% of all adults in B.C. and 62.7% of those aged 12 and older have received at at least a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
