4 In Custody After Stabbing In Abbotsford’s Riverside Road

    On Dec 15 at 7:07 pm, Abbotsford Emergency Services were called to the 1900 block of Riverside Road where witnesses located a man laying on the roadway.


    Upon arrival, patrol officers located a man suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds. The man was transported by BC Ambulance Services to hospital for treatment of his injuries.


    The victim, a local Abbotsford man in his 50’s, remains in hospital recovering from non-life threatening injuries.


    The suspects (3 women and 1 man) who are known to the victim, have been identified and taken into custody at this time. This file is in its prelimary stages of investigation, however, there is no risk to the public.


    Abbotsford Police Department’s Patrol Officers and Forensic Identification Unit remain on scene at this time.
