According to health officials, 74% of adult British Columbians have received at least one dose of a COVID vaccine. 72% of those 12 plus have received at least one shot. 

3,635,795 doses have been administered in BC, 314,246 are second doses.

AstraZeneca bookings and second shots begin today at pharmacies across BC.

There are 481 new cases of COVID-19. Fri to Sat 218 new cases, 131 Sat to Sun and 133 Sun to Mon. There have been 145,530 total cases of COVID in BC. The 131 number is the lowest single day since Oct 14. The 7 day is now 177 new cases. Lowest since Oct 20.

This is 70 in Coastal, 285 Fraser, 9 Island, 101 Interior, 15 Northern.

There are 12 new deaths, for a total of 1,722 COVID deaths in BC. There are 199 people in hospital with COVID, down 25. This is the first time since mid-November below 200. There are 63 people in ICU, up 4. There are 2,102 active cases.

Health Minister Adrian Dix and Dr.Bonnie Henry - "We are slowly and cautiously moving forward through Step 1, and in the weeks ahead, activities that have been on hold will resume once again. Many are excited about this transition, but there can also be fear and anxiety about what this may mean for you."
