Burnaby R-C-M-P are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect who allegedly stole a 75-hundred dollar Rolex watch after setting up meetings on Facebook Marketplace.
Police says the victim met the suspect in a Burnaby mall on September 1st to sell a Rolex but the purchase wasn’t completed on that day.
The pair met again on September 2nd and when the suspect got a chance to try the watch on he fled the area.
Mounties say the suspect was described as a male between 20 and 25 years old and six-feet-tall.
Robert Leeming, who is 37, pleaded guilty to the second-degree murder of Jasmine Lovett, but not guilty in the death of 22-month-old Aliyah Sanderson. He was convicted earlier this year of second-degree murder in the child's death.

Delta Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 92A Ave and 117 Street in North Delta. Upon arrival, officers located a 22-year-old man from Delta with significant gunshot injuries. The victim is recovering in the hospital from his injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
