Abbotsford Police Investigate Monday Night Shooting

    Police in Abbotsford ended the long weekend much like they started it, responding to a shots fired call this time in the City’s downtown.
     
    On Monday, May 23, 2016 at 8:30 pm, the Abbotsford Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the 2500 block of McCallum Road. 
     
    Witnesses indicated that shots were exchanged between two vehicles which were at or near the intersection of Switzer Avenue.
     
    No persons were located with any injuries and both vehicles fled the area prior to police arrival. Police did locate shell casings which will be subject to forensic examination.
     
    The two vehicles involved are described as a newer, dark-coloured Jeep Cherokee and a dark-coloured two-door pickup truck.
