Abbotsford Police Issue Public Safety Warning About Gavinder Grewal, Sandeep Sidhu, Jimi Sandhu

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 19 Mar, 2015 12:05 PM

ABBOTSFORD, B.C. — An unusual public safety warning has been issued by police in Abbotsford, B.C., for anyone connected to or who happens to be around three men involved in violence, drugs and weapons.

Police say Sandeep Sidhu, Jimi Sandhu and Gavinder Grewal have all had extensive dealings with the police and a variety of convictions including assault, extortion, trafficking and possession of weapons.

Sgt. Casey Vinet says there have been efforts to curtail escalating tensions between the three men but officers remain very concerned about violence occurring in public settings.

He says police are now identifying the men in the public's interest so people associating with them can know their safety might be at risk.

The men are described as South Asian and range in age from 25 to 27 years old.

All three men are prohibited from possessing firearms.
