  • Affordable homes open in Coquitlam

A dozen new affordable and accessible rental homes have opened in Coquitlam.

The Housing Ministry says the 12 units are part of a new 25-storey, 189-unit apartment tower.

Monthly rents are below market rate and range from $375 for a studio to $2,470 for a two-bedroom home.

They were funded with money from both the federal and provincial government as well as the city.
