  • Alberta RCMP say two dead, one in critical condition after vehicle hits pedestrians

Mounties in southern Alberta say two people are dead and a third is in critical condition after a vehicle hit a group of pedestrians and then left the scene.

RCMP say five people were walking on the Siksika Nation on Saturday night when they were struck.

Two men, aged 27 and 45, who are both residents of the Siksika Nation, died.

The injured woman is 45 and also a resident of Siksika, while police say the two remaining people weren't hurt.

RCMP say their Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation.

Police say they're looking for anyone who may have video of the area from between 8 and 10 p.m. on Saturday.
