With the harsh winter conditions in the Lower mainland, Alex Fraser Bridge has been shut down in both directions. A tweet from Drive BC says to use an alternate route. The Port Mann Bridge could be closed if weather conditions deteriorate.

Crews are monitoring conditions and the Ministry will be updating on the re-opening time. There were reports of ice bombs crashing on peoples' cars in previous winters from the bridge and causing damage.
For anyone whose net self-employment income was under $5,000, those conditions include having filed their 2019 and 2020 tax returns and having $5,000 or more in gross self-employment income in the 12 months before their application for benefits.
