Police in Victoria say two people have been arrested after reports of an armed break and enter at a residential building in the city.
They say officers responded to the building in James Bay, after receiving a call about the break-in and reports of what appeared to be a handgun next to them.
Police say the two people were arrested and taken into custody three hours later, just before 11 A-M.
They say no one was injured and the reported handgun was a realistic airsoft gun.
The service says 171 people died of toxic drugs in September, bringing the total for the year to 1,644, the largest number ever recorded for the first nine months of a calendar year.
