Police in Victoria say two people have been arrested after reports of an armed break and enter at a residential building in the city.
They say officers responded to the building in James Bay, after receiving a call about the break-in and reports of what appeared to be a handgun next to them.
Police say the two people were arrested and taken into custody three hours later, just before 11 A-M.
They say no one was injured and the reported handgun was a realistic airsoft gun.
The cause is unknown and RCMP have released no other details. Highway 5 remains closed in both directions and drivers have been told to expect long delays.
