Police in Port Moody say two 12-year-old boys have been arrested and released with conditions after they allegedly assaulted a girl at a SkyTrain station.
Police say they were notified on Tuesday of a video circulating in the community depicting an assault at the Moody Centre station the day before.
They say the video shows two boys assaulting a girl while bystanders appear to encourage the attack that left the victim with minor injuries.
Police say the motive for the attack remains unclear, but initial evidence suggests it was not provoked, and investigators are asking anyone with information to contact them.
RCMP officers in Kelowna, B.C., are investigating after two bodies were found inside a local business following gunshots and a fire. A statement from the Mounties says they were called to the Adams Road area Wednesday afternoon after receiving a report of gunfire and a subsequent blaze at the building.
