Arrest Warrant Issued For 21-Year-Old Surrey Man ANHAD SINGH VIRK Following Stabbing

    An arrest warrant has been issued for a 21-year-old Surrey man Anhad Singh Virk wanted in connection with a stabbing that sent another man to hospital on Dec. 13, 2018

     

    The stabbing, which occurred outside of a business in the 13400-block 72nd Avenue, shortly after 5 p.m., resulted in serious injuries to a man in his 50s. The suspect fled the scene prior to police being called.

     

    Police believe this incident was a targeted attack.

     
     

    The Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit advanced the investigation and on January 25, the BC Prosecution Service approved charges, including attempted murder, against 21-year-old Anhad Singh Virk, of Surrey.

     

    An arrest warrant has been issued, and police are now seeking help from the public to locate Virk.

     

    Virk is described as a South Asian man, six-feet tall, 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
