Arsonist setting fire at 3 downtown locations sought by Vancouver police

    Vancouver police is searching for an individual who allegedly set fire in three downtown business locations Sunday afternoon.
     
    Investigators are saying that the alleged arsonist entered public washrooms at various businesses and set fire to the garbage and waste bins. 
     
    No one was hurt in any of the fires and the damage caused to businesses was also minimal.
     
    The first fire is reported to be set at around 4:30 p.m. on Robson Street near Bute. 
     
    Almost an hour later, reports of a second fire emerged at a coffee shop on Davie near Thurlow Street. 
     
    The third fire broke out at about 7:30 p.m. at a restaurant on Mainland near Nelson Street. 
     
    Suspect is described as white in his mid to late twenties with a medium build and short light brown hair.
     
    Police officers are urging the public with any information to call the Vancouver Police or Crime Stoppers.
