Mounties in Ridge Meadows say they are investigating an assault at a local school.
They say officers responded to the incident at a school at 116-B Avenue around 9:40 P-M on Saturday – outside of regular school hours.
Police say one youth was taken to hospital by paramedics.
They say the investigation is ongoing and are asking anyone with information or dash-cam footage to contact the R-C-M-P.

The passengers of the vehicle were identified and released pending further investigation. The 25-year old female driver remains in custody on a number of firearms related charges and the investigation remains ongoing.
The vehicle, described as a Black Jeep Cherokee was travelling northbound on Boundary Road prior to the collision. The driver, and sole occupant was pronounced dead on scene.
