A Kelowna man has been arrested in Ontario in relation to a hate crime investigation in B-C.

Police say the 41-year-old man is facing charges including public incitement of hatred and advocating or promoting genocide.

The man was arrested this week in Kenora, Ontario by local police, and Mounties say they will work to bring the suspect back to B-C to face charges.

Mounties say the investigation on the case began on June 11th, 2024, in the Kelowna area but did not provide additional details.
