Richmond RCMP is currently on-scene in the 6800 block of Miller Rd investigating a body found in the ditch.
Richmond Fire-Rescue attended to assist with the recovery. The BC Coroners Service has been notified and will be attending the scene.
There is no risk to the public.
The Burnaby Fire Department and officers trained in high-angle rescue were called to the scene to assist, and both demonstrators were safely removed. The two demonstrators were arrested for Mischief and Intimidation by blocking or obstructing a highway.
