Police in Prince George say a body has been found near the intersection of highways 97 and 16, southwest of the downtown.
R-C-M-P say officers responded to the call shortly before 9 this morning.
They say the preliminary investigation has not uncovered anything to suggest the death was suspicious in nature.
Mounties say they will work on the case with the B-C Coroners’ Service, which is taking conduct of the investigation.

Police in Nanaimo say a driver doing donuts lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a home on Saturday. The R-C-M-P says it's fortunate no one in the home was injured when the vehicle drove over the lawn and was lodged into the foundation, destroyed some brick work and a basement window.
