Body Of Man Is Found In Fraser Valley After Couple Reported Missing

    AGASSIZ, B.C. — Police in the Fraser Valley say the body of a man has been found near Agassiz, B.C., after a Vancouver couple was reported missing July 12.
     
     
    Police say the man and woman's vehicle was found near a hiking trail at Statlu Lake by a search and rescue crew shortly after they were reported missing.
     
     
    Searchers, including an RCMP emergency response team, the police dog service and search and rescue aircraft, began scouring the area immediately.
     
     
    Police say the body of the man was found in the Mount Statlu Lake region on Tuesday.
     
     
    RCMP Cpl. Mike Rail says all search resources remain as they continue to look for the missing women.
