Boy, 15, charged after stabbing five individuals at Regina Mall

    A 15-year-old boy has been charged after four individuals were stabbed randomly at a Regina mall Tuesday evening. 
     
    Police is saying that it appears the boy took a knife into the Cornwall Centre and "randomly attacked people in close proximity."
     
    When the boy was confronted by police officers he responded by throwing the knife at them. The male was immediately taken into custody. 
     
    Meanwhile, three male victims were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, whereas one male was treated at the mall and released. 
     
    Police further said that the motive of the attack in unknown and it does not appear that there was any connection between the victim and the attacker. 
     
    The 15-year-old cannot be named due to his age and has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and two charges of breach of undertaking.
