A 28-year-old man who went on a multi-day crime spree in Burnaby and Vancouver last year has been sentenced to three years and two months in prison.
That's on top of time already served.
Hayden McCorriston pleaded guilty in December to numerous charges, including sexual assault, assault by choking, and robbery.
Those offences were just some of the more than a dozen Mounties say McCorriston committed between March 31st and April 3rd of 2022.
In June of 2021, the SEU began an investigation into alleged street level drug activity. The investigation led police to properties in Maple Ridge and New Westminster. Utilizing covert strategies police were able to further the investigation and obtain search warrants.

Ottawa police said Thursday that a dozen trucks left an area outside the downtown core after negotiations with protesters who have used the parking lot there as a staging and logistics ground. Ten more trucks left streets near Parliament Hill, and another vehicle was towed for obstructing traffic.
