Burnaby Police Looking For Man Who Allegedly Exposed Himself To Young Girl

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 06 Oct, 2016 12:22 PM
Burnaby RCMP is investigating an indecent act which occurred on September 29, 2016 around 3:30 pm, in which a 12-year-old female was approached by a male in a vehicle.

The female was walking on Pandora Street at Holdom Avenue when a male driving a white vehicle drove alongside her and asked for directions.

The female responded to male, who then drove away, only to approach minutes later and ask the female again for the same directions. This time the male exposed himself.

"We're pleased the young girl was able to quickly run away to safety. She was not followed by the male," says Sergeant Derek Thibodeau, spokesperson for the Burnaby RCMP. "However, we are looking for anyone who might be able to provide us with more information about this incident, or the suspect."

The male is described as a Caucasian, 30 to 40 years old, with brown hair, a brown beard and wearing reflective sunglasses. The vehicle he was driving is described as a white four door sedan, fairly new, and possibly a Toyota.

Anyone who has information about this incident is asked to contact the Burnaby RCMP at 604-294-7922 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-222-8477.
