New Westminster Police are seeking witnesses after a person was assaulted by a group of young people onboard a bus.
Police say the victim suffered minor injuries from the incident, which happened around 6:30 p-m Sunday.
They say the group fled the scene before first responders arrived.
Sergeant Andrew Leaver says in a news release that police believe other people were on the bus at the time and are asking people to come forward to describe what they saw.
Many pharmacies reported in recent days that appointments for people 55 and up were going unfilled, and there was a risk some doses were going to go to waste.
