A Surrey high school is about to boost its classroom space in a big way.

The province says it will invest 78.6-million-dollars on a four-storey addition to Fleetwood Park Secondary School.

The new expansion will add 800 student seats and is set to include a neighbourhood learning centre, an Indigenous learning and meeting space as well as a space for child-care.

The addition is expected to be ready for students in 2029.
