CALGARY — A court appearance for a man charged in the deaths of a Calgary woman and her five-year-old daughter has been put over for two weeks.

His lawyer, Gavin Wolch, says the defence has received disclosure of evidence but needs more time to review it.

The case is adjourned until Sept. 7.

Sara Baillie, who was 34, was discovered dead in her northwest Calgary home on July 11.

The body of her daughter, Taliyah Marsman, was found a few days later in a rural area east of the city.
