Creep Catchers' Latest Sting Nabs Mission, B.C. Elementary School Principal In Abbotsford

Darpan News Desk , 24 Oct, 2016 11:09 AM
The vigilante group Creep Catchers says it has netted an elementary school principal in one of its stings, and both police and the school board are now investigating.

The video was taken Oct. 14 in the food court at Sevenoaks Shopping Centre in Abbotsford. The man identified himself as “James,” a 33-year-old biologist.

A woman named Marie working with Creep Catchers posed as a teenage girl online to lure James. She says she didn’t know the man was possibly a principal until she read Facebook posts about him.

“They use that position of trust to gain the trust of these vulnerable children,” she told

On social media, many people are identifying the video subject as the principal at Windebank Elementary School in Mission, B.C.

The school board says it is aware of the situation and has notified authorities.

"Further comment is not possible because it is a personnel issue. Counsellors are being brought up to speed and may need to be vigilant," a message on the Windebank Elementary PAC Facebook page reads.
