A cyclist has been killed in an accident involving a semi-truck in Surrey.
R-C-M-P say officers responded to a report of a crash on Scott Road at 104th Avenue just before eight this morning.
When police arrived, the cyclist had already died of their injuries.
Police say a preliminary investigation indicates the person on the bike lost control in the intersection and was hit by the truck that was towing a trailer.
Officers interacted with more than 700 people across North America throughout the investigation and obtained 75 victim and witness statements, the Mounties said in a statement, adding more than 80 investigators were involved.
