Delta, B.C. Charity Seeks Owner Of Gold, Diamond Bracelet Possibly Donated Mistakenly

The Canadian Press, 18 Oct, 2016 12:51 PM
DELTA, B.C. — A charity in Metro Vancouver wants to be certain a very unusual donation is not a mistake.

The charity, based in Ladner, B.C., recently found an expensive piece of jewelry in its donation box.

The gold and diamond bracelet was spotted around Sept. 22 and Delta Police say the charity is concerned it may have been donated inadvertently.

The item is described as unique in design and of significant value.

Police have been asked to help track the owner and say the bracelet is unusual enough that the owner should have no trouble describing it.

If the owner does not come forward, police say the jewelry will be returned to the charity and accepted as a generous donation.

If you believe you are the owner of the bracelet, please call the Delta Police at 604 946 4411 and ask for Cst. John Smith or Sgt. Mo Parry quoting file number 16-19953.

If no one is identified as the owner, the bracelet will be returned to the charity and accepted as a generous donation.
