  • Dillon Dube acquitted of sexual assault

Dillon Dube, a hockey player and former member of Canada's world junior team, has been found not guilty of sexual assault in an encounter that took place in a London, Ont., hotel room in June 2018.

Three of his ex-teammates — Carter Hart, Alex Formenton and Callan Foote — have also been found not guilty of sexual assault in the case.

Ontario Superior Court Justice Maria Carroccia, who is delivering her ruling in a packed courtroom this afternoon, has not yet given her decision regarding the fifth player charged in the case, Michael McLeod.
