Elderly driver killed in a T-bone crash

Police in Delta are looking for video surveillance footage after an elderly driver was killed in a T-bone collision.

Police say the victim was leaving a Wendy's restaurant on December 22nd when the vehicle was struck on its driver's side by another car.

The driver of the vehicle that was hit died a few days after the crash.

Investigators are looking for dash-cam video or other security camera footage to determine what happened in the area of the 93-hundred block of Scott Road around the time of the incident.

RCMP in Coquitlam search for vehicle submerged in Fraser River

Police in Metro Vancouver say an underwater recovery team is working to locate a vehicle submerged in the Fraser River and determine whether it was occupied. Coquitlam RCMP say they received a report of a vehicle in the water by the boat launch at Maquabeak Park, near the Port Mann Bridge, shortly after 12:15 a.m. on Saturday.
