Extradition Hearing Set In New Brunswick For U.S. Man Accused Of Murder

    FREDERICTON — A North Carolina man accused of murdering his uncle in the United States will face an extradition hearing in New Brunswick on Sept. 30.
     
    James Daniel Ball is accused of killing William Ball on April 22 in Camden County, North Carolina.
     
    Documents filed with the Court of Queen's Bench in Fredericton to obtain a provisional arrest warrant indicate the uncle sustained a gunshot through his head.
     
    Ball was arrested on April 30 when he entered Canada.
     
    None of the allegations have been proven in court.
     
    Ball is being held in custody until his next court appearance.
