LANGLEY, B.C. — A man is dead following an early-morning hit-and-run in South Langley.
 
Police responded around 2:30 a.m. (to the 2900 block of 200th Street) to find a 44-year-old pedestrian had died.
 
Langley RCMP say witnesses reported seeing a vehicle stop briefly after the collision before leaving the scene.
 
Officers specializing in collision analysis and reconstruction have been called in to assess the scene and determine the type of vehicle involved.
 
The identity of the dead man has not been released.
 
The investigation is ongoing.
